My name is Christopher
J.
Claytor and I just completed my campaign for the office of
United States
Representative to Congress for the 3rd
District of Texas in
2010.
The
results...
Many, many thanks to the 3,582 brave Patriots who voted for me!
Unfortunately, we will remain at the mercy of the Republicrats and
Demicans and their ideas
about what is "best for us."
I hope that as many
a Tea Party member has said to me, with a Republican majority in the
House, "things will be different this time."
If not...
plan to see me again in 2012... for the same old reasons...
----------------------------------
First and foremost is my displeasure with the way the current members
of Congress are operating.
The current leaders
are acting like spoiled rich children. They have no concept of
fiscal responsibility, and in their zeal to enjoy themselves, and do
things in an attempt to make "friends," they spend money at an ever
increasing pace, borrowing money they don't have and they can't pay
back (but expect us, the taxpayers to!)
How does the governement keep getting someone to lend them money when
most citizens are having a tough time? They use their "parents"
(all current and future U.S. income taxpayers), as co-signers.
Enough already! Just like a frustrated parent eventually
says NO to the spoiled kid in college who keeps sending home notes
"send more money," we (taxpayers) must do the same.
How? Working within the democratic system we here in
America have enjoyed for more than 230 years, please excercise your
right to
vote. Vote every time the opportunity is presented.
And vote for anybody other than an incumbant person or
party. Its time for "real
change." The 2008
elections showed us that you can not expect that from any incumbant
person or party. We must
vote differently if we are to
expect a different result.
I am
different.
I am a Libertarian...
I stand
for
fiscal
responsibility and smaller
government. Not the ever increasing
deficit spending government of the current leaders in office.
I promote individual responsibility over asking our "big brother" to
take
care of us.
I am
socially
tolerant, desiring that every American should be able to live their
life the way they want,
(as long as they do not infringe on the rights of others to do the
same).
I promise
to
fight to ensure you enjoy the
stated freedoms in the Constitution
of the United States and the Bill
of Rights, just as I did when I swore an oath to support and defend
the
Constitution on the parade field at the United States
Military Academy at West Point.
Please
take the
time to consider all of the candidates and their positions on the
issues
carefully before
deciding who to vote for.
I hope
that
after careful deliberation you will decide that a vote for Claytor
is the best choice to put our nation back on a path toward being
fiscally responsible!
Thank you.

Updates:
Another
great article on why you should NOT expect incumbants to do anything
different than spend your money with no regard or remorse... Do Not Trust Cornyn or
McConnell [Repulbicans] on Spending Cuts

Please
read, "545
People" by Charlie Reese. This article cleary
articulates why we should not re-elect our current 3rd District
representative!
Sam Johnson is the
long-time incumbant of District 3 with huge cash
reserves for his campaign. Not only does his campaign have
lots of cash, he has the advantage of using our tax dollars to promote
himself. This year he has sent out 3 expensive glossy brochures
to the resident's of District 3, each proclaiming how great a job he is
doing (and therefore implying, please re-elect me.) Each of
these mailers state in the fine print: "This mailing was prepared,
published, and mailed at taxpayer expense."
ENOUGH, Sam! Please stop wasting our
money!
If you would
prefer a true Fiscal Conservative representing you in Washington,
please DONATE to my campaign. TX
Libertarians have a history of providing real "bang for your
buck," by taking very limted donations (thousands) and stopping
Billions in wasteful spending by state legislators.
Bumper stickers also
provide much more "bang" than the more expensive stationary
signs. Please
help the campaign by displaying a CLAYTOR
FOR
CONGRESS bumper sticker. If you will put one on your car
while you drive around District 3 many more people will see and join
the campaign. Please send me an email with your
address, and I will mail one (or more) to you, at no cost to you!
