Christopher Claytor for Congress

Texas 3rd Congressional District, United States House of Representatives

About Me

The Constitution Over All Else

Do It Right, Always

At the United States Military Academy at West Point, I learned to say the Cadet Prayer. At its simplest it states “make us to choose the harder right instead of the easier wrong.”

When it comes to running our government and being a member of Congress that translates to… if its in the Constitution we should do it, if its not in there the Federal Government should not be concerned about it and let it fall to the States or the People.

What does the Constitution Say?

The U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights is a short, simple read.

Please take the time to read it at…

What does the Libertarian Party Platform Say?

The National Party Platform Preamble starts, “As Libertarians, we seek a world of liberty: a world in which all individuals are sovereign over their own lives and are not forced to sacrifice their values for the benefit of others.”

I have extensive leadership experience from the United States Military Academy at West Point (1987 – 1991)
and from my time in the US Army (1991 – 1995)

My “corporate America” experience after departing the active duty Army in 1995 is detailed below.

I continued serving this great nation as a Captain in the Texas Army National Guard through 2001.
